In the recipe video, Shilpa Shetty used flattened rice or Poha to make the Poha Laddoo. She roasted the Poha for a while, thus making it slightly brown in colour. Other ingredients included roasted desiccated coconut, jaggery or gur, raisins, almond meal, flaxseed powder and ghee. All the ingredients were ground and put together to form a dough which were then used to form yummy laddoos.

So, indulge your sweet tooth this Diwali without a side of guilt, and try Shilpa Shetty’s amazing and healthy Poha laddoo recipe!
